I did the injection last night and survived...probably should have read the instructions before doing it and gotten the air out of the syringe, but thought the pharmacist and nurse had told me what I needed to know...Oh well - I did it and am ready to go again tonight. I have another appointment tomorrow to check my follicles and bloodwork. I ordered 2 vials of donor #1 today and am cautiously optimistic about the whole process.
Word is slowly getting out on my plans and for the most part, everyone is super supportive. Even my dad has finally come around and gave some input on the donor. His advice? Pick the one with the highest gpa. Thanks Dad. :)
